Guinevere’s commissioning process is advancing quite effectively.
In the film, you can observe one of the three engine rooms, each equipped with two RR Bergen 5760 kW at 720 RPM, along with all auxiliary machinery. I confidently assert that the engineering work has been executed to a high standard.
It is necessary to mention that the seawater pipes are constructed from fibre glass, which undoubtedly extends their lifespan, thereby enhancing the reliability of the cooling system.
The sound of the engine loaded at 25% capacity is quite pleasing; I am eager to hear it at 100% load test.
