IT Administrator

Job Description:

  • Maintaining Satellite TV Server, Decoder and associated Equipment and televisions, Computers, Printers, Network and V-Sat Equipment (Satellite Internet Connection).
  • TM-Master system (Spare Parts Database / Procurement Ordering System).
  • Assist in EPIC issues with our client (Personnel On Board Tracking System uses Oracle DB, Handheld Readers and Smartcards).
  • A proven track record of International experience with Offshore Companies
  • Perform muster-checker duties during drills and emergencies using the EPIC.
  • Will actively involve himself in improving the safety and general welfare of the vessel (which goes for all personnel). Intership would provide product and marine safety training.

Job Description:

  • Coordinate and ensure that all mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment maintenance and repair is done in a safe and prudent manner
  • Ensure compliance to Company policies, local and international regulations relating to the operation of the barge, and current pollution regulations
  • Supervise the monitoring of the power plants controls and power distribution, propulsion and auxiliary systems.
  • Ensure that the permit to work system is in place and followed
  • Participate in the effective management of the Barge Maintenance System (TMMaster) and ensure all records are maintained on a timely basis
  • Supervise the maintenance and repair of all engine associated systems.
  • Supervise the maintenance and repair of all pumps and valves of the ballast system, associated driven pumps and auxiliary equipment
  • Liaise with the appropriate personnel regarding the loading, ordering and use of fuel, lube oils, greases.
  • Plan equipment periodic maintenance according to the PMS guidelines and coordinate that maintenance with all department heads
  • Ensure that reports for repair and maintenance of equipment are accurate and complete
  • Oversee classification society surveys as part of continuous survey of machinery.
  • Supervise the implementation of outstanding recommendations from audits, as issued by Clients, Regulatory Authorities or Barge management

Chief Electrician (ETO)

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have all the required offshore certificates and hold a degree in Electrical Engineering. Some of the duties will include:

  • Ensure daily inspections and maintenance on electrical equipment are carried out
  • Participate in the effective management of the barge Maintenance System and Inventory Control System
  • Ensure all records are maintained on a timely basis
  • Carry out periodic maintenance according to the PMS guidelines
  • Maintenance and repair general barge equipment such as HVAC system, refrigeration plants, power and communication systems, lighting, etc.
  • Carry out maintenance and repair on electrical components of marine equipment, i.e. thruster motors and auxiliaries, ballast pumps, control panels, cranes, etc.
  • Perform and interpret power calculations, power factor, insulation tests, and positive relay tests as required
  • Study and understand electrical schematics and logic diagrams as required
  • Maintain an adequate supply of spares in order to fulfill maintenance requirements
  • Inform supervisor and other department heads of any technical problems or limitations that may affect the safe operation of the barge
  • Experience on accommodation barge or jack-ups and semi's are desirable
  • Offshore experience is a must
  • Experience with DPIII Kongsberg K-POS (maintenance certificate) and PMS K-Chief is highly advantageous

Shipyard Project Engineer

Job Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. (Advantageous to have DPIII conversion experience)

  • Reports to Vice-President and General Manager of New Construction.
  • Subscribes to and advocates for the principles of Continuous Process Improvement.
  • Directs all phases of steel fabrication, assembly and erection, piping fabrication and installation, electrical systems fabrication and installation, painting and outfitting including the work performed by outside contractors. Monitors the performance of assigned supervisors.
  • 'In conjunction with the Senior Project Manager or Head Office, oversees the execution of production schedules and budgets to ensure timely product delivery within budget constraints. Monitors & supervisors to insure that schedules are updated with the Planner/Scheduler. Plans and insures adequate resources are available to all projects.
  • In conjunction with the Senior Project Manager or Head Office, plans and schedules production operations, establishing priorities and sequences of work.
  • Responsible and accountable for production schedules, progressing reports, and ensuring that the quality of work performed meets specifications, cost, and schedule.
  • production schedules, manning projections, budget requirements, etc., to ensure prompt and effective corrective action in problem areas.
  • Responsible for overhead expenditures.
  • Develops and maintains standard operational and working practices.

Job Description:

Responsible for;

  • All vessel movements/activities/operations and day to day running of vessel
  • Safety of the vessel, crew and all personnel on board, our vessels are currently up to 600 man
  • Supervision over continuous adherence to and implementation of HSE Company Policies.
  • Vessel's Maintenance Plan being carried out
  • Keeping good levels of communication with Charterers/Clients on board, making sure they are happy with all aspects of vessel
  • Control over and overview understanding of, all departments on board.
  • In charge of ordering spare parts/material required, and going through requisitions with Dept. Heads prior to submitting to HO

Job Description:

  • Source and Purchase ship stores required for the Company's Vessels, obtaining greatest value for money
  • Monitor Vessels activities/operations/requirements through keeping high levels of communication with all personnel you are working with
  • Arrange transport of material purchased, and co-ordinate with Vessel and its Local Agents to get it on board asap
  • Operational Problem Solving - involves continuous monitoring/control over problems being solved, and keeping Management up to date with progress made
  • Negotiations of contract terms for purchasing expensive equipment
